accident looking for a place to happen

Not a rant per-se more a GRRRR, yesterday on the bike bubbling along near Mittelere Brücke, downtown Basel, just bought me a Wickelfisch swimming bag http://www.tiloahmels.ch/wickelfisch.php (now that the season is ending) Baselites will know the corner, there where all traffic and trams and pedestrians and tourists looking for a good photo vie for the same space on the road.
Me too, as I said bubbling along, trying not to suck kiddies out of their prams into the air-intake, out of the corner of my eye I noticed the no. 14 tram driver…
A beauty, long black hair and a face to make the pope whine, she was a stunner.
WELL SHE BLOODY STUNNED ME! I forgot to shift down and stalled the bike, in the middle of the curve, bikes without forward motion fall over. I ended up as the attraction of the day, dancing on one foot trying to get the bike back up, at the same time I was being belled most vigorously by the tram coming from over the bridge.
Yes She knew what she had done because as she drove off she was laughing her head off..
Biiitch

Gotta use that one sometime!
