Having fun in SLC, UT

We had some time off and headed out to Salt Lake City, to spend some time with our son. He was transferred there after Katrina. The weather was great while there. Added a couple of pics.

How'bout some text...Don't leave us hangin. Tell us about your trip. At least 'till you get your pics posted.
I'm particularly interested in an outsiders experience here. I'm from back East but have lived here (Salt Lake) for 15 years now.
I sure have had some good times in Louisiana! Seen some interesting things down there...not all of which I could mention here.
I love the South. Especially the food!
How was your experience in Salt Lake?

We had a great time, ate some good food "Rodizio's" and played in the snow. Was dissapointed in that we did not get to ride the tram up at Snowbird, high winds. Also drank some great beer, Wasatch Brew pub, and Red Rock. Went to the Ferrari dealer and played with a Lotus Elise.

Too bad you didn't eat at Cafe' Trang next door to the Ferrari dealership. One of my top three restaurants in town. (If you like Vietnamese).
Not all that impressive looking on the outside but rated very high...and oh the food! Pass the word to your son but tell him to be adventurous (Stay away from the Americanized dishes, too bland and you miss out on the real treats).
Glad you had a good time....
