My boss is heading into Mexico for some Baja Race (In Cabo I beleive) he is planning on bringin his truck, rv trailer and dirt bike and atv. Is there a good webiste I can point him to that will tell him what he needs paperwork and insurance wise on all these?

Thanks

Hey, Robert - I'd git your boss in touch with Sam Burg (way2fast), who runs a race or two in Mexico. Sam is active here on the forums also, and he surely should have the insight as to what is needed and where to purchase it, plus other wise tips, since he's been there done that several times. Just an FYI.

You will just need insurance in Baja. Anywhere else in Mexico beyond 25 miles of the border and you need a sticker for each vehicle that requires the actual pink slip and not a copy of it for your vehicle, trailer, motorcycles, and ATVs. They take a deposit for the sticker based on the value of the vehicle and you have 6 months to return the sticker at the border when you leave to get your deposit money back. He should check with his insurance company to see what type of coverage he needs to buy.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Don't go through Texas and life will be simple. I guess Mexico just doesn't trust those Texans

Well who can blame them - 1836 still strikes a nerve with them

The race is in San Felipe so he just needs insurance then?

Thank you sir
