I could be wrong...but the video and those pictures do not seem to coincide.

It looks like someone in the back of the truck is shooting a semi-auto weapon. Take another look. What a close call!

Ending with this

I'm not sure if this is the same chase or not but this was a hell of an ending for someone...

And what could the type of weapon have to do with his statement about the video and the still pictures not matching?

Not the same car. The car in the vid has push bars on it. The one in the photos does not. Still scarey as hell.

The missing pushbars are an obvious difference between the two cars,
but then they could have been removed for whatever reason.
I replayed the video in slow motion and the cracks in the windshield that appear when the bullets first hit it are consistent with the cracks in the picture.
I can't imagine why there would be a substitute car and what they would stand to gain by doing that?

Not The Same Police Car

The car in the video and the car in the still picture are not the same. The car in the still picture is of a Schertz, Texas police car that was involved in a shoot out between the officer and the assailant at a trafic stop. The officer was shooting from behind the vehicle. Schertz is a suburb of San Antonio and is nowhere near Plano, which is a suburb of Dallas. The car in the chase shootout is a Richardson PD unit, which is another suburb of Dallas. The car in the chase has a push-bar on the front, the one in the still picture doesn't. There are threads about this at http://thegunzone.com/mos/schertz.html and http:// hedonistica.com/archives/12/pictures_of_the.php

In both cases, it's damned dangerous when you come up against an AK-47.

A line I heard in movie recently applies to the driver of that car:

"I KNOW Jesus loves YOU!"

If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, is loud, goes fast, or shoots a big bullet, thus producing Torque or Recoil....It's Cool.
