Why, that's an LT buzzard head. Actually, it looks like a mount for somethink. The grommet is for wiring.

It's an Atlas and it looks like you are looking at the coast of Alaska. I might be able to tell more, but there is a UBO (Unidentified Black Object) blocking the view... ;-)

Well, I'll be dang - thought the id might tell me where I got it from! Nope!! Musta bought it off a list member sometime back.

I've got the trunk and trunk plate removed off of Toad right now, and I tried to see if it would mount in the CB antenna location - gave up on that cuz the holes don't line up. Didn't think 'bout looking under the radio antenna bracket. Thanks Dave. Hmmmm - I'll think of some use for it - maybe the CCR silent auction table?

Hey, Grif - not sure 'bout the buzzard look!! That profile does look like one of them Brazilian Painted Beak birds tho, don't it?

I just knew somebody with your sense of humor wuz gonna glom onto that Atlas thang!! They do have some birds up there in Alaska called Puffins- close resemblance to the UBO profile, don'tcha think??

BTW - the Atlas wuz being used to plot Steve White's Alaskan adventure. Wondered where wuz his location when the wind gust got the better of him! Man, that photo essay of his trip wuz scary at that point!!

Thread hi-jack, Shawn - butt we don't care; it's my thread, right?!?! Take care.
