Thumbs up Another Car collection

Funny that the car museums/collections topic popped up in the same week!!

Here is a small collection that is housed and nicely displayed in a building in Fredericksburg, Tejas. I had no idea it was there, until George Young (ex-BMWRA board member and LT rider from Chambersburg, PA and Bandera, Tejas) took me to visit on Thursday this week. Only saw one car that was NOT for sale - the rest are. Each car sported a neat 3-ring binder on the passenger seat, giving a historical account of that car, as well as the pricing info. In addition to the 50 or so cars on display, there is another storage building that had to be purchased to house the remainder of the collection. As soon as a good display venue can be built, they will be added for viewing.

Thanks to David Shealey for starting this topic, and to Jim for adding to it. Y'all enjoy. And if anyone wants me to assist in arranging delivery of a selected vehicle from the collection, I'm cheap labor - butt high maintenance!!!

Re: Another Car collection

Hmmm, I can see at least - Oh, 10 cars there that I wouldn't mind having in my garage. What a cool collection of convertibles. I've never owned one...

Read about a very nice motorcycle collection in England a few years back. There's a sign as you walk in that says, "Everything is for sale, you just need to want it more than I do".
