Good to Be Back

Hey all,

It has been a while since I was lurking and posting on this site. Every so often, I'd log in and see thousands of new posts I'd missed.

Anyway, after my company decided they were not making captial equipment anymore last March, I was pretty low and got some good advice from all of you. Nothing more humbling than trying to find good work quickly.

Things worked out good. I started consulting full time for a company I've done work for on and off over the years and my wife re-entered the work force after 15 years raising our kids. Her health insurance was better than my company and I was able to work out of the home.

I still was able to coach my Son's middle school varsity football team (Mooresville Brawley Braves) and we won our Division. First time in history. My son was a Beast that Game scored 3 of our 4 touchdowns and led the team with 9 tackles. Pretty proud day.

I'm now working full time out of the house, football is over and my commute is "0", so there will be a lot of mental health trips round town to get the bike warmed up.

Just changed her fluids the other day and I'm ready to ride.

It's good to be back!

Re: Good to Be Back

Thanks Guys,

The bike "almost" went up for sale, after all you can't eat a bike

I'm planning to swing by your place Dave on Saturday and may join you on the Sunday ride.

Glad everything worked out for the best Joe. Hope to see you on the road sometime, Jack and I will be replacing another members transmission this Saturday if you want to stop by and say hi.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I'll try again tomorrow".

Hey Mike,

I read that thread, what an awesome favor you are doing. I remember something about an interlock when it all goes back together or it won't run

I'm going to swing by Dave's with some Donuts early. After Shane's practice, I may swing by and see how you're doing.

Odometer is just about to turn 76K.

See you later.

Re: Good to Be Back

Hi, Joe. Good to see posts from you again. Congratulations to your son's football team. Sounds like he gave that last game everything he had. Good for him. Good looking boy, too. Got his looks from his mother's side, right?
