Anthony Hopkins as Burt Munro

Might be worth driving over 17 to one of those "big cities" by the bay. The review in San Francisco Chronicle makes it sound fairly entertaining. Any of you big city fellas seen The World's Fastest Indian?

I'm thinking about seeing it this weekend. It looks like a good movie (there's motorcycles in it) and it got good reviews.

Just got back from seeing it. Definitely go see it, it was that good. Interesting, funny, and you were really rooting for him just to get to Bonneville, much less run the bike. I won't say any more, as I don't want to spoil the ending. I'll be buying the DVD when it comes out.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

It is a MUST SEE movie for anyone. We just saw it last night and really enjoyed seeing the plot develop around Bert, his dream, and journey to set a world speed record on a motorcycle only designed to reach speeds around 60 mph. Even if you don't ride motorcycles, this movie is still historic as well as a wonderful character study .

Thumbs up Sir Anthony as Burt Munro

A friend of ours is big into the motorcycle community here in the DFW area. He invited us to preview the movie for a marketing firm in January.

The movie has been out overseas for a while, but just opened here in the states Friday. We loved the movie - it was funny and you really find yourself rooting for him to get to Bonneville.

We plan on seeing it again on the big screen with all the sound and popcorn.

We've usually found the more the critics abuse the film, the more we want to go see it.
