We had a female motor sergeant here in Baltimore. First 30 degree winter day and she decided that maybe a squad car with HEAT wasn't such a bad idea! We rode everyday over 25 degrees except when we had ice or snow. She was a really good sergeant and cop and still a close friend to this day, just not cut out for motor duty. Good luck to your gal, if I may use that politically incorrect term.

Then you don't have many 25 degree days, now do you John? How are the twins?

Mike,
I do not know what your point is with that article, but I can say our female motor officer did not have any problems with manuvers, and was not up at 5AM praciting. In the picture are KZ1000 which are the easy police motorcycle to get through the course, next to the 650GS. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm?

I was getting the impression from some of the posts that a female motor officer would not stick with it "give me an update in 12 months"
She stuck with it
I'm sure some of your new officers have trouble with manuvers
from what I've read the training you guys go thru can be difficult even for experienced riders

Talking

Everytime I think of a female MotoCop, it reminds me of the closing scenes in 'The Italian Job', one of my favorite movies.

If I'm going to get pulled over . . .
