Attention Steve Rowe, are you staying dry?

According to The Weather Channel, Snellville has been deluged with heavy rains. We here in North Georgia have seen 6-8 inches of rain with some flooding here in the Tr-State area around Chattanooga.

Heard that there was someone crossing a river on the road in Snellville and didn't make the trip, so sad.

Be carefull out there!

That might explain why he was looking for a pontoon vendor at CCR.

I hope all is well with Steve and the rest of folks who live in GA and are getting soaked in this bad weather. Be careful out there.

Re: Attention Steve Rowe, are you staying dry?

Just got off the phone with my bro in Cumming. His place is right on Lake Lanier, about 25 yards from water's edge. His cove, which has been empty of boat docks since all of 'em have been moved out to the lake central, now has water in it for the first time in a long time. Still not deep enough to float the dock, butt getting close. Said most of the flooded areas are downstream of the Lake Lanier dam and it usually takes some time before the lake reacts to inlet stream runoff above the dam. So far, he's recorded 7+ inches over the last few days, and it's still raining today.

I hope Steve and Connie are safe. Since he job-travels alot, he could be on the road somewhere.

Gilles, we would love to send the 5-18 inches of rain that some of us have had here and shift it to California!

More rain on the way here.

Brett, are you volunteering to become the next Mulholland who will bring water to Los Angeles?
We are now under strict water rationing and can only water our lawns and plants 2 days a week (Monday and Thursday in my neighborhood).
That also means I cannot wash the bike!! Yeah, that's it! That's the reason...!
