NASA's New Rocket

Cool little time lapse video of what we've been doing here at the rocket ranch lately.....

And what is this new rocket called ?

Back to the old fashioned escape rocket package I see...

If it's not broke, don't fix it.

There has been much discussion on how much strain the segment joints and hold down posts will see during roll out to the launchpad. The test article is instrumented out the wazoo and I'm sure that was a test measuring loads at various places along the rocket.
