Watching the quarter wave matching stub work is a treat, as well as watching the reflections from open and shorted xmission lines.

Course, I watch this stuff and want to know what is going on with the area under the curves.

It never occurred to me that light reflection and reflection of RF in a transmission line were caused by the same thing, impedance mismatch.

Real cool stuff. Makes me mad we didn't have the internet and PCs when I was in school. We thought it was great cause we had calculators rather than slide rules..........and we liked it!
