While we know that California has problems and that Schwarzenegger some degree of responsibility, I am not sure I would trust Lyndon LaRouche to present the facts in a balanced fashion.

Re: California's financial melt down:

Well ... with Detroit in a meltdown, jobs going over seas from damn near every state, run away inflation coast to coast ..... can't say I agree it is a California issue.

This country is being picked apart piece by piece and getting sold to foreign investors. We may have the land and infrastructure, but we sure as hell don't own a lot of it any more

The state government suffers from the same affliction the federal government suffers from: WE CAN'T STOP THE EVER INCREASING SPENDING!

In spite of the claims made by the "Governator," spending is UP by 20% in the last few years or so. What does his "Governator" propose? A "TEMPORARY" 1.5% sales tax! WTF? We're already one of the highest taxed states in the nation!

Oh, BUT we're not even close to being done yet, my greedy little "under givers"! The good and honorable citizens of Los Angeles County approved TWO transportation bond measures that will jack sales taxes by 1%. So, add a 1% transportation tax to an "emergency" 1.5% sales tax, and what do you have?! THE HIGHEST TAX RATES OF ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTY--OVER 10%!

It's so great to know that there is NO RECESSION in LA County! Now, I've heard of taxing yourself into prosperity--and we all know how great it works. But we're gonna be WAY,WAY, TOO prosperous, here!

Have a nice day!

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." (Some really OLD friggin' White dude who couldn't have possibly known what he was talking about!) WARNING: Official HATE speech!
