Where do you keep your weapon at home?

I prefer a little light reading.

"Rosseau" is on top of the table next to my side of the bed underneath several other books. Home made by me - and it was a major pita to do so... I was going to use War and Peace but could not find a used copy for under $15.00.

"Real Estate Handbook" resides in the living room on the coffee table, ready for univited guests! This one was professionally made and cost about $25.00. Very nicely done, the pages are glued together. Hard to find that will hold anything larger than the J frame - the Kahr would not fit and it is small.

This scenario is NOT recommended if there are any children in the house or visiting at any time. PUT THEM AWAY IN A SECURE LOCATION.

I can't tell you where I keep my weapons. But that other Ted, the Good One, he keeps his pot in the shower curtain rod.

Re: Where do you keep your weapon at home?

At 6'3" and 300lbs, my primary weapon is very easy to find

I don't disclose the location or nature of any backup weapons, but they are both safe and accessible. So far in 54 years (knock on wood) my primary has proven sufficient.

Beside my bed and at the top of the stairs (dog)

Here in the UK we just shake an angry fist at them muttering, "you're lucky the wife's a heavy sleeper".

In all honesty if the argument isn't ended in my favour with a 105lb GSD and an old acrylic patrol baton. There's always the window with a hop skip and jump, live to fight another day.

With two cop cars parked at our house and two dogs that roam the perimeter, I am thinking where my weapon is stored is least on the bad guys mind.

I just hit the "armed" button. Should give me plenty of time to grab the 12 guage if necessary.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Weapons are like Gym memberships. They are nice to have, but you hope you'll never have to use them!!!

Our weapons roam the house ready to defend at any moment. If they are to fail, then and only then do I let her loose
