Two really unusual bikes I've seen

I could not get a pic due to heavy traffic when I saw this guy on Saturday.

Imagine if you will, the MC with a sidecar, a large metal frame over both of the bike and the sidecar, with a kayak on top. Then it has a mountain bike mounted on the rear. It would seem terribly awkward to enjoy riding.

I've seen this around for a couple of years now, but the mt bike is a new addition. Seems to me he should invest in a trailer for next season! Might have to stop and ask next time I see the guy. No idea what kind of bike it was.

On a similar note, anyone from CA see the black dude with the pedal powered tractor trailer looking bicycle he travels and lives in, has a MC front wheel, 144 speeds, a lot of sprockets and chains, and is one fascinating piece of work. So is the guy! Not sure if I could locate the pics I took when I stopped to talk to the guy.

Re: Two really unusual bikes I've seen

I saw a guy pulling a kayak with his LT. I think I was in Georgia, or Missisppi at the time. My biggest thought on that was it rode really low. Be hard to see from a jacked 4x4.

Re: Two really unusual bikes I've seen

I don't have any pictures but....

this old local Harley rider had a rather unique boat/trailer.
he had taken an old flat bottom alluminum Johnboat and cut it in half,
welded in two pieces with a hinge on top so that when opened it was a boat,
when folded he just bolted the wheels back on and was his cargo trailer,
he pulled that thing all over the country for years before he passed on,
quite a conversation starter.

My old setup with 2 kayaks and all the camping gear.. A bit touchy close behind 18 wheelers on the interstate, but it worked.
