May I make a suggestion for a new forum?

We've got forums and sub forums, surveys and polls etc etc.

I signed on today using the "new post's" feature and there's 64 new post's
five separate threads "whining" about the final drive,
that's way over the 4% failure ratio

http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29944

http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37092
http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41805

There was a survey recently asking should we have a politics/religion forum,
presumably so that those of us who are "sick and tired" of those subjects
could just avoid that forum so we don't have to "hear" it any more.

I think the time has come for a "final drive forum"

we could put all the
Bitching Moaning and Whining
about the final drive "in there" (along with legitimate questions)

so the rest of us can spend more time talking about what a fabulous motorcycle the LT is,
what say ye?

20 grand & 2K miles don't make you a biker

Better yet, how about if BMW fixes the final drive issues once and for all? Then recalls all the bikes sold in the last 10 years. Or, is that too much to ask?

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the crack pipe? Gee Wizzers Ken if we didn't have the final drive issue to bitch about we'd just have wonderful ride reports to read, and who wants to do that?

AND furthermore we deny having any kind of drug problem--or drinking problem!....Yeah, especially a drinking problem!
