as a system admin for a private investment company (private bank), I go through the Microsoft Exchange Hosted spam folders for the bosses (and their families) I see way more troubling e-mails than this one.

That one is "almost" coherent. some are more pitiful than that for sure!
There are very inventive scammers out there that are loking for every chance to fleece the gullible.

Beware of any e-mail that you do not recognize!

Hi, Alex. Are consumers really this dumb? As both a rider and working for the world's largest retailer, I can confirm to you that yes, you're fellow citizen out there driving around and voting is really that dumb and dumber. I see it every day driving to work and then at work the incredibly and amazing stupidity individuals pull off with out strain or a thought. Just gives me such a warm fuzzy thinking about these people driving and voting. Speaking of voting, don't get me started on how dumb the electorate is. On that cheery note, it's just about time to go to work at this job I just absolutely cherish.

IE and my systems insane protection wouldn't even let me view the site. But yes people are that stupid. My father-in-law clicks on every email he gets regardless if he knows where it came from or from who. He is a big spam target. Not saying he is stupid, but he is definitely gullible.

I will say yes people are that stupid. I have a friend who's father actually traveled to Canada and Porta Rico to collect his lottery winning after sending several hundred dollars to secure the winnings. They had to become his legal guardian to stop him from sending money to these scams.

I got one from Chase saying they were closing my account because they no longer liked my credit profile! I threw a party and asked them to notify me again.

Customers that actually PAY their bills--on time--as opposed to going bankrupt, etc, are sooooooo old school! Let that be a lesson to me!

I always like the Shoebox method, as practiced by a guy I knew in junior college. When a bill came in, he filed it carefully in a special shoe box. When the shoebox was full, he moved. Simple, yet effective. Sucked for his roommates, though.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
