Where do you buy all your stuff?

I have shopped at Ride Gear and Motorcycle Superstore for a lot of the stuff I currently have.
I am looking for some additional recommendations.
Where do you guys shop?

Re: Where do you buy all your stuff?

No offense, but I try not to fall in love with any one online vendor. That's what they're hoping that you'll do. I've found good deals on www.eBay.com, www.craigslist.com, www.motogear4u.com, www.cyclegadgets.com, MAW (www.accwhse.com/), www.ibmwr.org/market/ , bmwlt.com's classifieds, www.newenough.com, www.brocktoncycle.com, www.ironpony.com, and so on & so forth. Google is the best tool for finding what you want. Just be patient, and shop diligently and you'll always find the best deal. When in doubt, post a question in here. If you want to know where a true cheapskate shops, ask a BMW rider!

Re: Where do you buy all your stuff?

Motorcycle superstore did not stand behind a problem I had with a product purchased from them, and I have not shopped with them since. It was an expensive item, and a big deal to me.

My buddy sent me a link from a new online store that has been in business less than a year, and they have gone above and beyond offering excellent customer service, and I continue to look for what I need from them, before I look anywhere else. They have saved our riding days twice the past two months, which otherwise would have left us without the necessary safety gear, which would have taken at least three weeks or more to have replaced under warranty by the company that made the products. And, we were out of Revzilla's 30 day replacement warranty, plus shipped and returned both items at no charge.

Interesting. I noticed how no one mentioned any of the vendors who support this site.

Re: Where do you buy all your stuff?

While most of those listed are not supporters of this site, www.motogear4you.com mentioned in the 4th post has been a supporter of the bmwlt.com and the old bmwlt.net sites for as long as I can remember.

And as I seem to remember over time, when folks get a good deal from one of the site vendors they post about it.

I'm sorry Steve but I don't see them listed as a supporting vendor......then again maybe I not thinking clearly because right now here in SE PA we're getting hit with a snow storm!
