What is a "DMW"?

Seriously... no photoshopped lubricant logos... A bit of Brit bike history.

OK, so what is a DMW? Sounds like BMW. Dawson Motors Wolverhampton. Maybe fitting that the Brits made a machine with a similar name since BMW "borrowed" the boxer engine design from the Brits way back when.

Your other thread reminded me of them, obviously. They got all the way up to 494cc. But so did Piaggio.

Hey, Davey - did you notice the side car rig on that DMW at Alamo? I couldn't tell whether that is sumpthin' Kermit is workin' on for a customer, or one he's got for hissownself. First time I'd seen that at his shop, tho.
