The "amended" Giant gas sales promotion policy

http://www.sendpix.com/albums/08102110/hswzzq1of4/

If someone would format this to insert as an IMG image please, it would be appreciated. I know it can be done, just have not yet figured it out....the properties show IMPG2140, and when inserted into the brackets, I get nothing?

To clarify any possible misunderstandings, should this too appear on Google, "there are NO restrictions on use of gas cans, the size of your vehicle's gas tank, how much of a discount you have earned, or how much you are spending for fuel."

For those of you that replied to the original thread and felt it was a travesty to refute the non disclosure policy, or felt Giant was being defrauded by a customer that was asking for what had been otherwise offered via their well coordinated and heavily advertised corporate promotion to sell their gas, your support was greatly appreciated! ~;^/

Open the picture, right click > properties > copy the location

then paste in between the [img] [/img] tags

VIOLA!! (except that's the debit card policy, not the sales promotion )

If you are "Redeeming the Gas Extra Rewards points"

Please pay inside!

These are the newly posted placards from the Corporate offices, which were created after the complaint was filed regarding their offering discounted gas and then having the pumps shut off at 30 gals, without informing the public that was going to happen.

These placards did not exist until a few weeks ago. I have no intention of buying fuel with ethenol, unless I have no other option. Therefore, I have not been back to the Giant station since the initial incident.

If there is any doubt as to the policy, feel free to contact the Corporate offices of Giant. They were very polite about the situation, and created these placards which now allow anyone that would like to use their well earned, discounted rate to fill their large tanks (should you have one) and fuel cans, without a pre-set limit on the fuel.

From my understanding of what was supposed to be, the store in question had not posted the policy as required by the Corporate office (anywhere) at that fueling stating, anywhere.

Thanks for the tips on posting the pics. I hope to figure that out, asap!

But it still doesn't say what the discount is, or what limitations there may be. Somewhere they need to post the "fine print", don't they?

Here in the Sunshine State they've seen fit to mandate 10% ethanol. Isn't mandatory yet, but almost all stations have already gone to it.

Re: The "amended" Giant gas sales promotion policy

Wish I would have thought to take a pic of that too.

Their 10% Ethenol is posted at the very bottom of the pumps, right about shoe string level. How many people do you think may see that or even think to look for it?

It is the only station in this area that I have been to that uses Ethenol that I am aware of.

The original policy, which they did have in the managers office and no where else, has been amended to the updated version seen on the previously posted placard. The amount of the discount is provided on your purchase receipt as well as the time frame in which you have to use the discount.

The problem was I was not right clicking the option in the insert box, and was instead attempting to paste from my edit prompt on the tool bar.

One note about this placard, the attendant did not have a copy of the details when I requested them, and I had the store manager bring a copy to the gas station. This case is officially clos-ed.

It is now time for a very cold and well deserved, hydraulic sandwich!!!!
