Stockholm

I have to go to Sweden next week for business, ( ) but I'm going to add an extra day or two to check out Stockholm since this is my first time there.
Any thoughts as to what I should make it a point to go see? I'll be on foot or public transport this time around since it's such short notice, unless I can find a bike to rent while I'm there.

Thanks for any info!

Click the "Stockholm Basics" tab on the header... then the "What to see".. etc. such as: "The Vasa" museum.. there's a "Man-o-war" ship there...

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Re: Stockholm

Fly via Glasgow. That way you avoid Heaathrow and take a couple of days off where they speak english (sort of;-/) and save the rental fees as you can borrow mine.

Stockholm is meant to be a very nice place though

I LIKE the way you think!
The last time I was in scotland I was in a little rented Peugeot 206 (or 207) hatchback - I was basically wearing the car as my jacket - and we were FLYING up the road near Fort William along the coast, the whole time I was practically dying to be on a bike!!! The riding up through the highlands is awesome I bet, the roads were fun with the Peugeot!
If I ever get the chance to come over again, I'll take you up on your offer for sure! You're welcome to do the same!
