Wink Say It Ain't So!

In a big surprise and shocker, a non-partisan ethics committee in Alaska concluded that the governor DID demonstrate unethical conduct by abusing the power and privilege of her office by improperly firing a key public safety hack.

In a further statement, the ethics committee said that there is nothing improper about tasing a 10 year old and that the little bastard deserved it!

In closing, the committee noted that, as shocking as these findings are , the sun will come out in the morning!

Have a nice day!

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." (Some really OLD friggin' White dude who couldn't have possibly known what he was talking about!) WARNING: Official HATE speech!

The commission was bi-partisan, more Republicans then Democrats.
The public safety hack was in charge of the state police not the person who was accused of tasing a 10 year old.
The republican rock star is now a proven liar. I could never understand why McCain choose her when there were so many good candidates. She has now completely ruined what few chances McCain had to become president.
It really does look like "game over" "done deal".

Re: Say It Ain't So!

See, there you go twisting the facts. If you're going to report something, make sure you have the info.

They said, 1. She didn't break the law. 2. She violated an ethics law by not stopping her husband from contacting officials to try to get some aciton (firing of the b-i-l). Opinion: WEAK! Like saying you should be able to stop your wife/ husband from doing anything you tell them not to do.

Not getting involved in political discussions- just correcting your "facts."

Hmmm, who said she broke the law? Not me, I just called her a liar. After the last few weeks of Ms Palin preaching from her pulpit about all the lies that Obama has said I find it ironic that she's convicted of lying. Maybe there's a master plan to this for the McCain campaign and I'm just not getting the big picture. Palin was a poor choice it cost McCain the presidency!

The point I'm tying to make in this post and others is that Palin is and always was a liability to McCain. He chose her to take the wind out of Obama's sails the closing night of the Democratic convention. That she did, she's done little else. Oh yea she solidified the base.......the base is never going to vote for Obama. If McCain would have picked Romny, successful businessman, governor of a state that primarily votes democratic, McCain would now be in a very close contest.
When Palin was selected many members of this board thought it was the greatest thing since slice bread, some right here saying the McCain campaign were now getting the Hilary vote. The whole time myself and a few other members knew she was a joke and the biggest joke was thinking they would get the Hilary vote with Palins selection.
So please feel free to explain to me how Palin is now helping McCain. inquiring minds want to know.

She's got a great ass. It's always good for a POTUS wannabe to have nice scenery around. Morale, and all that rot.

I'm not sure YOU really understand. It doesn't matter who wins the election as we'll be just as screwed no matter how you look at it. Until the American people rise up and vote out the 545 politicians that have got us into this mess we're, well, screwed.

Did you or I make the deficit, start a war, write the tax code, or any of this other mess? Nope. It was the politician in Washington DC that did it. One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices have put us in this mess. Consistently. Not you. Not me. Them. Until they are walking the streets, we stay screwed.

Ok, my turn: what's a POTUS? Is it a shoe?

I WOULD do her but only with a ball gag.

POTUS: President Of The....well. You'll figure out the rest.

I'd do her too - but she strikes me as someone who would bitch-slap me and order me to do it again, and properly this time!

As if firing state employees for personal reasons is a good thing? Only if you are in desperate denial of reality.

Anybody want to go back to motorcycling topics besides me?

Anybody else wonder if the dismal 2009 model is the last LT we will see? Not that black is a bad color, but I will be sad to see it go.

OK, I'll bite - why is the 2009 dismal? I rode one last weekend and it is great bike and very good looking.

Rumor has it we will see a new LT for the 2010 model year, announced next fall.

Re: Say It Ain't So!

'09 is black? It's probably Socialist too. (Obligatory political commentary)

What strikes me about our bikes - '99 to '09 essentially look the same. Yes, a few extra pieces of chrome here and there, changed dash, yada-yada. But the non-LT riders haven't a clue what year my LT is. Theses bikes hold the same shape over the years.
What worries me is that the 2010 may be a total redesign, suddenly making our LTs 'old style'. If that happens our equity in the bikes will plummet. I say we start now and prepare a business case for a bail-out / rescue package.
Hey; what's good for the goose, etc...

AND some of us always knew it was a horrible choice cause you can never court liberal female voters with a conservative female. There will always be too much cat-fighting/hating.
