The stock bridgestones grip too well on carpet,

I think next time I will use the mez880 less grip but better mileage on carpet!

So, at the end of it all he raises his hands in triumph like "hey, look at me, I'm the man!" What a dumbass.

A different ending just as easily could have been: A fuel leak caused by the crash ignites, catching the bike on fire and spreading to the surrounding room. I wonder how he would have celebrated then?
