Buddy's wife runs over & kills passenger

A buddy of mine and his wife were on a weekend trip in Arkansas. They went into a curve and the lead rider of a group of crotch-rockets coming the other direction drifted into their lane and hit Jimmy. Paula, his wife, who was riding right behind him, ran over the offending bike's passenger, killing him. Jimmy was medevaced to Springfield, MO for surgery to his left arm, elbow and hand. Paula only had some cuts on her left arm as far as physical trauma. Not sure about what she is going through mentally right now. She has only been riding her own for about four months now.

A great couple who were in the wrong place at the wrong time again. Two years ago they were riding two up when a tire & wheel came off a utility trailer on the freeway, crossed the median and struck them, breaking Jimmy's left wrist and Paula's left leg and arm.

This is the article about yesterday's accident:

Damn, I believe after that I'd be giving up motorcycles... Someone's trying to tell them something.

Hopefully they'll both recover....Our prayers go out to them....

That is tragic. I hope your friend Jimmy recovers fully.
