B-2 Crash in Guam

Apparently there was an easy fix/preventative measure that never got documented.

Re: B-2 Crash in Guam

This seems to be another in a string of incidents that point to a lack of accountability that eventually led to the dismissal of the Secretary of the Air Force and the Air Force Chief of Staff.

Re: B-2 Crash in Guam

To me, this is a direct result of the "unified" command structure. Once SAC was absorbed into the ACC (Air Combat Command) things started to go downhill. These, and the other incidents would have never happened under the old SAC command structure. We took everything VERY seriously in SAC. Things were triple and quadruple checked, nothing flew if there was any doubt as to its safety or reliability...A sign of the times, I'm afraid.
