Does the US 'think'?

For that matter, does the world?

Re: What does the US think of the rest of the World

That is some heavy discussion on the other question.
I'm just getting around to seeing some of the rest of the world on my own time (vacation) and would like to see more.

In the last 5 years I've been to:
Czech Republic x 3, planned another for Feb. 09 (guess I really like it there)
Poland
Belarus
Scotland
Aruba
Mexico

Keepin' it light,
Jer

Roger ... very funny.

Tragically, though, I think this map exceeds the geographic grasp of the average American. For what that's worth.

Very true. The U.S. is Geography light and civic education nil. Few understand that they live in an Empire where the elite control everything.
In this sense the educational system insures that the masses remain obedient, passive and blindly patriotic.

Unfortunately, once most Americans complete school (and find jobs) they then become castrated by consumerism. By this time they a have personal interest in believing the system is just even when their government controls their lives.

Count me in the "Elite" category. I ran for a public office and won. I actually have more political experince than Obama. Plus I never lost an election and I was there for every vote. But I didn't go pro, it only paid $0.00 per year!

Congratulations , Norris you have done well . I sure wish that folks like you could get in the positions where real change could happen and I'm not talking (Obama change and switch politics) as usual.

Oisin,
Before you dance too much, I was the one against the change. It was going to cost us millions! BTW it is easy to get elected when only 1/2 the voters go to the polls. I just told my constituents what I was going to do. I beat the good old boy that had been running things for twenty years and even though I was out numbered by his cronies, my minority position ruled!

Great post. Clear concise and it communicates exactly what the U.S. government has cloned its sheeple to believe.

Ditto. Well, at least until someone sees it and tells HR. Then I'm told it must come down because "it's insensitive". I'm thinking that perhaps we're becoming the pussies.
