Anything Strange Out There ?

I have never seen a UFO. Never saw a ghost. Haven't bumped into Bigfoot. Or Nessie, or Champ. But, I am fascinated by people who have. So, here's your chance. Tell us some ghost stories or alien stories. Describe lake monsters or bigfoot. Has anyone out there have a good story to tell from something out of the ordinary that happened to them ?

Not yet, Norris - butt, one of these days. Gonna be visiting my hometown down in the SE corner of KS - may just take the long road home and say "Hi" to ya.

BTW - I may know your relative!! Monte Rogers, up in Kerrville, Tejas, is building a bike similar to your ride. Sez he's gonna git about 80 mpg. I axed him what those leetle footpegs are for; the ones that go round and round? Said "them thangs are 'supplementary power'!!" I told him not to worry about me having one in the same color!!!

Wink Re: Anything Strange Out There ?

I just saw this plane landing at the local airbase. I think they use it to haul UFO's (that crash around here in the swamps) to area 51! That's my story and I am sticking with it!

Back on topic. Sort of...

I knew a guy who was our resident Les Nessman (WKRP Cincinatti)- quirky, odd, annoying, schizophrenic, head full of strange theories and a self-destructive personality. He and his wife both believed they had been abducted by aliens (Too bad they didn't have these: http://www.stopabductions.com/). He resented having a cubicle office, so he made a door for it out of cardboard (sound like Les?). He also collected rocks. Radioactive rocks. Geiger counters lit up at his house, probably still contaminated.

On a personal note, when I was a lad of 14 living in the Denver area, there was a rash of nightly UFO sightings phoned in to police by the dozens (1965?). We lived in a western suburb with an elevated view of half of Denver. My brother and I used to sit on the roof after sundown watching for UFOs. We saw zip, zero, nada. Dang.

Thumbs down Re: Anything Strange Out There ?

Here in Pawleys Island, SC, a ghost of a colonial era sailor, known as the Gray Man, protects this area from storms and hurricanes. I have seen him numerous times, mostly in the area of the Pawleys Island Tavern parking lot around 2:00 AM.

Re: Anything Strange Out There ?

Thanks, Dave

That's what I'm talking about. This "Gray Man", you've seen him ? That is very cool. Was it from far away ? When you saw him, were you convinced that you were looking at something paranormal ? Even though, I've never seen anything that I would describe as paranormal, i. e., UFO's, Bigfoot, or ghosts, I truly believe that others have. There are too many credible people that have had these experiences. At the end of this thread, if we get more stories like the "Gray Man", I will give you my theory about what is really going on. But, suffice to say, I think that all these paranormal happenings are linked. By the way, the poster of "WTF" was really funny. I don't normally laugh out loud when I read or see something on my computer, but that one got me.
