I've been away from the forum here for a while. Back in November, some of you may remember, my wife suffered a ruptured aneurysm in her brain. She survived by the grace and mercy of God, (and some hard work from a crack medical team at INOVA hospital in Fairfax, Va.) and is well on her way to full recovery.
This past week, she was well enough to travel to Green Bay, Wisconsin to see her "son, the staff sergeant" as she calls him, get married, and to dance the traditional "mother/son" dance with him. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, I assure you.
May I present to you, Staff Sergeant Phil, and his new bride Amanda.
And Staff Sergeant Phil, and his mother, share the mother/son dance.
Praise God, she was alive to see this day.
