Finally Summer, whopping 72 F early may

Today was darn hot and riding the LT was not that pleasurable, especially with a black Cordura MC suit.

I will have to come up with some lighter summer clothing with safety system on it.
Any suggestions where they sell that and in Large size (xxxxx+)?

You must be kidding. I remember riding at 120F heat last summer here in Arizona. 72F for me is pradise :-) Don't you use metric over there? Maybe a conversion error?

Re: Finally Summer, whopping 72 F early may

In courtesy to you, I try to use a measurements that most of you understand (+ my LT is a US model with USA computer hehe)

Yes we use metrics.

And yes I have been working in Myrtle Beach SC. during summer and WOW!!!
First year I thought I had come to "hell" and the second year I got it confirmed HOT 80`s to 90`s
Humidity of high 80`s to 90`s

I will have to find some other clothing to use when it gets real warm.

Perfect temperature is 26 C+ (Today was 18 C+)

What you mean 80 to 90 is hot? You've obviously never been to Houston in the summertime. I remember days where I left the house to balmy 85F at 7:15 in the morning. Oh, and about 80% humidity as well.

I guess we can still teach those norskmen a thing or two about stamina. LOL. 72F is outright cold.

heheh Andy, I thought someone would react

Yes southern US is damn hot in summer and I know, but I guess we all get used to it.
72F made me sit in boxers and open shirt inside with door wide open to my deck and the shading curtains at the door in closed position....
Maybe it is the shock of summer that is arriving after a cold winter.

I know that Matt Kas understands hot... My brother lives outside Phoenix, and when the low is 95f during the summer on a hot night... Well, enough said!

His AC does get a workout!

paalao,
That's more info than we need to know!

Three weeks ago when I rode to Texas it was 95 F in Terlingua Texas. The next morning in Alpine Texas (about 80 miles north of Terlingua) it was 38 F.
The Harley riders were freezing to death. I just smiled as I plugged in my Gerbings and turned on the heated grips and seat!

My daughter lives in Scottsdale AZ. Summer time 100 F by 8 in the morning. 115 in the afternoon.
They all say it's a "dry heat". It is, just like a pizza oven!
Sometimes it rains and brings temps back down to 105.
I don't ride out there to visit her in the summer.

In flight school I bought an old cropduster PA-25 and flew from Durango to Lake Powell. That was one of those damn hot days...
And even with my high lift wings I was almost scared that I could not get of that strip, it was that hot in the air.

Very nice scennery though, like the arch which is one of the world wonders.

About Scotsdale...a friend of mine flew in there to a local airport with no tower, he was inbound and a twin engine "jackass" came in bragging that he was on short final! While beeing far out, so my friend said he was inbound on ONE engine and needed to land first....and he did with his Cessna 172! hehe
