A Prayer for All Seasons

The Democrats are my shepherd; I shall not want.
They leadeth me to stilled factories and abandoned farms.
They restoreth my doubt about the future.
They anointeth my wages with taxes and inflation;
My expenses runneth over my income.
Surely poverty and hard living shall follow
And I shall work on a rented farm forever.

Five thousand years ago, Moses said,'Pack up your camel, pick up your shovel, move your ass, and I will lead you to the promised land'.

Five thousand years later, Franklin Delano Roosevelt said,
'Lay down your shovel, sit on your ass, light up a camel,
this is the promised land'.

This year, the Democrats will take your shovel, sell your camel, kick your ass and tell you they gave away the promised land.

I'm glad I am an American. I'm glad I am free. Sometimes though, I wish I were a dog, And all Democrats were trees..

Roy Gregersen

Re: A Prayer for All Seasons

I just checked Snopes.com and that's just not true.

The funniest thing about it is the implication that the alternative is any better.

Jay as you proberly know:

If I am the tressuary and I have 1000 million dollars (let us make it simple)
then I give out 250 million for the cost wars that we fight
then 750 millions in taxcuts
then 700 million for more budgets like rest og Pentagon
then 1000 million for wages to public servicemen
then etc.. ending up with a high inflation becouse the money that is over the income is loans.

Then you know that this have to be paid back, just like a bank. And how does banks take money back? They increase the interest rate (Read: more taxes) they put extra charge on using the bank services etc (Read more fees etc.)

If you are very insolvent, the banks forclose on you and sell the property to highest bidder (Read: They make adjustments to devaluate dollar to increase trade and more trade in order to get more money and investments)

Conclutions is that every time someone will loose.

Now if we look at the last 3 US presidents with huge defecits and the single Democrat president who had to clean up after the two before him where the defecit and debt was enormeus, then we can ask ourselves who`s foult is it?

Just imagine what the cost will be after this president?
He leaves more debt behind him then all the other presidents combined!

I am quite baffeled that the republicans cant see that!

BTW
I forgot to say that I am from now on trying to avoid debates about religion and politics. Time to cool down

I am quite baffeled that no the republicans cant see that!
And I'm quite baffled that no Republicrat can find their balls and tell all his constituents, on the big government teat, that you can't have all the "free" big government that you want, all the time!

Now, instead of looking for the boogy MAN (as in any one person), let's look for the boogy MEN (as in many, many, people). Perhaps we even need to look in the mirror to find the boogy men. Any one worthless hack can't overspend w/o the generous assistance of many other worthless hacks. The many worthless hacks could not overspend if the people in their district demanded accountable spending. But no, I would rather have my "free" big government program--as long as someone else has to pay for it, right?!

So, we really have the overspending, overtaxing, overregulating big government that we deserve.

Now if the "EVIL W" could just spend way more money on the military, perhaps all the "free" social programs would have to end to pay for it. Yeah, I know: money is like Doritos, "eat all you want, we'll make more!"
