Re: Way Cool Toy!

There's a field about 5 miles from my house where they fly the RC planes, jets, and helicopters. I've noticed that ... the more expensive the craft, the madder they get when they crash em.

Re: Way Cool Toy!

That's no toy. It costs more than some of us paid for our LTs.

I work the Amigo Airshow in El Paso, TX every year. Two years
ago I got to see one of these crash in a huge fireball (looked exactly
like a real jet crashing) when it lost radio contact with the RCer.

It was then that I found out how much they cost. I was in the vicinity
of the "pilot". And as Joe mentioned...he as not happy.

Re: Way Cool Toy!

If you look real close, you can just see the tiny pilot waving. But it's not something that they like to talk about, for obvious reasons.

The B29/X1 was pretty awesome.

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
