Re: Texas Hill Country Video

Hehhe I was thinking that to, that was the bumps in the road!
Texas is just like Denmark, flat as a pancake---except some sandy hills in the northwest!

But still a cool video giving atleast me an urge to get out riding asap!

Re: Texas Hill Country Video

Sorry, guys.. it wasn't me.. I only reported the video link.. That road is between "Doss and Harper, TX. off Hwy 290...

That is in the North Central of the "hill" country. From the video it is hard to see the "elevation" changes... but you can see the water on the right from time to time..

Having run that road, I'd say the elevation changes are not as high for the road, but the surrounding "area" does rise and fall a good bit.

The whole road is abut 16 miles... and, he runs it in about 4:32.. so, not the entire stretch of the road....

Doesn't that work out to 3.5 miles per minute? And doesn't that make the MPH something over.......?

Re: Texas Hill Country Video

Reminds of the route my Garmin took me leaving Chan's house and heading west, last year. I have some incredible pics where I had to ride through small streams to keep going. It was awesome! I love Texas!

Thanks Chan.
