Great news received today!

To those of you that kept up with my heart attack last March. I went today for a stress test, for the USCG to renew my Masters License.

On my last stress test I was only able to complete the first level, it was pretty bad, three minutes and I was done.

Today I had another stress test, and completed the second level, 6 minutes total. I know it doesn't sound like much but it is a 100% increase. I am looking forward to increasing it for the next one also. The big difference was that I was only winded, my heart rate never hit the max level set by the Doctor. I started at a pulse of 55 and reached 100.

The best part is they have dropped the idea of an ICD and not even talking about a transplant anymore, so this is great news.

What's really funny is that most of the time I showed up for cardiac rehab and doctors visits I was riding "The Beerburner"! I caught a lot of flack for riding but I figured what the heck!

That is all great news, Floyd! I am really proud of you! I'm definitely buying you a salad with non-fat dressing at CCR this year!

OK, maybe a beer, too.
