Exclamation This is the second night in a row...

Lightning and thunder?! At the beginning of February in northeast Ohio?! What is up with that?!?! I might want to start building that ark.

My mom called earlier from Arkansas. She was in the closet in the middle of the house riding out a tornado watch in the line of storms that just killed 14 or so people in Arkansas ans is wreaking havoc across the south tonight. She got through OK but said it sounded really bad outside. Won't know if there's any damage to the house until morning.

Cold in April

My Grandfather was born in 1890. He said that in order to know when to plant crops they kept track of the weather. If it thundered in April there will be a cold front in April on the same day.

Mark you calanders. I have never had it fail. The ground hog said six more weeks of winter, thunder proved it. Somebody remember to check in April.

Ride 'em if you got 'em.

We got a ton of rain Monday night and lastnight. Our bridge on our lane was running over. I'd like to see someone take a GS through that.

But rest assured, it is supposed to be a high of 16 on Sunday with lows in the single digits.

My granddad always said "NEVER" plant your garden till after Easter. I didn't listen one year and had to "REPLANT"
Easter weekend last year in South Texas we had ice and freezing rain all weekend long

I'm in N. Arkansas, and a tornado tore things up pretty badly in Gassville and Cotter, about 40 miles east of here, yesterday evening about 5:30. Radio this morning said one dead, 10 missing. Across the state, there are 10 or 12 dead.

At least we don't have to worry about flash floods.

Oh, wait. Yeah, we do, ok nevermind.

David, Ted,

I hope everything works out OK. I guess some lightning and thunder doesn't compare to tornados. But this is a strange winter, weather-wise up here in the Buckeye State.
