Tight space under the hood or not?

They say that in a modern car the engine compartment is fully occupied by the engine and all the related things.

However, one can still easily fit a deer under the hood if the speed is right (way over 120 mph, that is...)

Pity it broke his radiator and he had to stop, otherwise he would have had a superb barbequed deer by the time he got home !!
