Smile Holy Crap! I got the job!!!

Many of you know that I interviewed (twice) for a position last week. Well, I just 'got the call' and was offered the job. My wife is ecstatic to say the least. We will be working at the same place (the Kenston School District), and our schedules will be very similar. It's an I.T. position . . . the benefits are incredible, and the pay is good. Also, I will be able to keep my current (and best) customers, so the income will still be very good. (Not as much as some of you millionaires make, but that's 'OK'. )

Thanks for all the prayers and/or well-wishes from many of you in this forum.

My wife knows that I have my eye on a GS. It's just a matter of time. I'll call it "Signing Bonus".

Cool Congrats. I like the signing bonus idea. I must try that with my wife. My normal philosophy is it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Congratulations, Joe! I knew you would get it! It sounds like a great opportunity, but will your wife be able to tolerate you for another 8 hours a day?

So, now for the all important question - Are you going to CCR??

Thought I better say 'Well Done Joe' coz it's obvious that no one else on this site likes you . Your new employers had probably decided on you a couple of weeks ago, but decided to make you sweat .

As I said in a previous post, are you sure you wanna work for the type of organisation who would employ someone like you

Well Done Joe, and enjoy it,

Thanks for all the prayers and/or well-wishes from many of you in this forum.
No prayers mate, just lifted a few ales to wish you luck. Looks like all my hard work paid off. Now I have to go get a liver transplant! again........

Well done my friend, hope you manage to make it over next year, I understand you have the offer of a loaner? while here, would take a ride out to meet for a beer or three, oh, and a bite to eat, coz all (or most) of the photo's I've seen of you there has been food involved.

I'm late in offering my congratulations because I just rolled into YOUR HOMETOWN (or at least nearby -- Cleveland). I'm here for an all-day meeting (AKA "Snooze Fest") with our IT department tomorrow. Something about a "team-building exercise".

Congratulations!

I already know that song all too well.

If you have to work, it is always better to make it in something you look forward to and enjoy. People that live any time in their life going to a job they dread, are stupid, life is too short to spend living under that type of shadow.
(Which is why I always centered mine around Tattoos, Motorcycles + Strippers )

I was told by the salesman that I could have this bike for
$17500 out the door. The shop owner had the custom paint job done with paint protection plastic on the tank and the bags are included along with a few other goodies. 500 miles on this 2007 demo bike, if I could swing it this bike would be in my garage already, and it's not far from your home. The bike was listed for more than $20,000 less taxes and whatever other charges a dealer throws in like freight and setup. I have no affiliation with this dealer other then buying 2 LT's from them and their 14 miles from my home with a new owner and I want to see them succeed and stay in business. All demo's must go.
