Alaska on the Travel Channel

8:00 pm this evening, the Travel Channel is having a semi-docu on Alaska by Jeff Corwin. He gets up close and personal with the wild inhabitants of that great state (not quite like the Aussie lad, Erwin). Makes it appear that he's the only one in the flick, butt you know there are a multi-tude behind the camera. Terrific scenes and for those who have been there, you'll prolly recognize a lotta the places he visits. Kodiak Island last week, and out to the tip of the chain to Atta Island (sp?).

Tks for the tip Dick! We'll probably check it out. Kodiak will be nostalgic for Marilyn & I for sure. And that island out near the tip of the chain would be Attu. Famous battle site during WWII when the Japs decided to invade our islands! Coast Guard Loran Station out there now. We used fly the logistics flights out there from Kodiak at least every other week, if not weekly. Long flights!
