Hey! Alton's got himself a real bike this season!

And I didn't realize that I knew a TV star. Bob, from BMW of Atlanta is Alton's "motorcycle guy". I camped with Bob at GMR '06 (Georgia Mountain Rally). He's a great guy! If I lived anywhere near Atlanta, he'd be my "motorcycle guy" too.

And this year he is not blurring out the roundels on his bikes or clothes.

I noticed his helmet would occasionally have a piece of duct tape over the Shoei logo, then the next shot it would be gone and you could read it.

Yep, and maybe a bit more. Last year Alton was on his RT, but the other guys were riding Triumphs and such. Notice that this year everyone who is on a bike is riding a brand new GS.

All that said, great show once again! I really don't know how those guys avoid being 350 pounds by the end of trip. They're eatin' A LOT of good food!

No kidding.... it would be hard to just nibble and pass the plate. Last year on the last show with the cop from Hawthorn,Ca it seemed as if they went from one place to another inhaling everything they saw. Finally they hit the beach with a big bag of Mexican food that I think they never ate.

I have to believe that they don't eat everything we see being served. Just a few bites here and a few bites there. Otherwise, like you said. They'd look like . . . umm . . . me.

I guess Gail had never heard the expression "suck the head" judging by the look on her face when I yelled it at the TV during the crawdad eating segment.

The External Tank is floated down to the Cape from Nawlins, and at one time, it was manned by a crew from the plant. I'm here to tell ya, a couple of them boys can cook. More than once the managers would find me and my whole crew in the galley scarfing down some Gumbo, Red Beans, or whatever. Mouth's watering just thinking about it.

It was wild watching the show last night since I live 5 mins from Klieberts alligator farm, and my son worked there for awhile. Also the Andoule sausage is 30 mins from me, and most of the places they went to, I have been to, also there are many more places that they missed/passed. I am sure they could spend the whole season here in Louisiana alone, going from restaurant to restaurant.

I wished he could have gone to the alligator farm where I worked, for a year, we harvested 500 gators a week, had 25 houses with 1000 gators in each house. Gator is some kind of good yea. My favorite is BBQ'd gator legs.
