Plastic Welder

I've always wanted a plastic welder to play with, but didn't want to spend the bucks to do so. Harbor Freight has one on sale for $40. Sounds attractive. BUT... always been of the opinion that you get what you pay for and I can see it burning out early, or not working right at all. Anyone have one?

You, know Grif, I usually agree with you on that kind of stuff, But, For what you pay for something from HF It usually works well based on the occasional use that you are going to give it..

Now if it's something I'm going to be using everyday, Only the good stuff..
But for that 199.00 inverter/tig welder.. That's good enough for the few minutes a year I'll be using it..

Give it a try. Let us know what's what..

See ya in a couple weeks,

John
