pecking order.

The number next to "post" the higher the number the more rank you have on the board?

Naah, it's more like: the more time you spend "behind" a (key)board

There's supposed to be a 'reputation' feature on this site but I can't seem to figure it out. Maybe it's been disabled?

Seems to me that there are a few people who have never had the desire to look into the FAQ section of this BB.

All your questions are answered there, Grasshopper.

On the Home page, after you log in, look to the left side of the screen. In the 2nd or 3rd box down are several informational headings. The first 2 are FAQ and K1200LT FAQ.

It is there that much knowledge resides.

Actually, that number is the combined circumference of your waist and head in millimeters.

We turned the reputation system off. It tended to have a fairly divisive impact on our community. Most people seemed to use it to ding the reputation of other members rather than to elevate the reputation of our best contributors.

The post number is inversely proportional to the amount you ride.

Not necessarily. I've had my GT almost 4 months now and it just turned 15K miles. How far have you ridden this year?

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Axshooly, I rode up there yesterday morning when I moved the bike out of the gearage for the tech session to get Fridays mail beyotch and I didn't make Jerry drive up there, I made him drive up there several times, but I think he lost his "bearings"

Meese, about 10K so far this year, a trip to Nova Scotia, and a trip to Key West making up most of it. Just reminded me of an old addage, "the number of keys you carry at work is inversely proportional to your importance to the organization."
