Bit the Big One Today

No I didn't wreck my LT....

I promissed Lindy we'd go shopping for rings after Christmas..

Little did I know it would be "the day after"..

Fortunately it didn't take her long to find "the" ring...

I don't think she was expecting me to just buy it today though..

To tell the truth I got off pretty easy.....She's like that...

So, It's official.. We're engaged....

Wedding is planned for the third weekend in August..

Honeymoon at CCR 2007.

The picture is to show your wives... I don't expect any of you guys to care about that but the wives will...It's not like it's a new bike or something cool ...

Although now I see another bike in my future......

RT, RTP ? who knows.....

Looking for sympathy,

John

oh oh...

Your post is so ripe for picking (read innuendos). I must have a deviant mind.

Ok back to normal programming. Congrats!

Nice rock. My wife has one that is similar.

I'll buy you the first drink. Who said you can't have a post marital party with your friends.

Congratulations

I think

A word of advice

When we got married 18 years ago here is the plan we came up with and it works.

She gets to make all of the small decisions.

I make all the BIG decisions.

I has worked.

You may asked how does this work.

Here is an example.

She get the small decisions such as:

what kind of cars/bikes we drive/ride.
where we live.
what kind of house we live in.
where we go on vacation.
what we spend on food/house/amenities
what we spend and put in the bank.

My BIG decisions you may ask:

Thanks

Thanks Guys,

Yes Lindy is really that kind of girl....She's the best....

We talked about it and between having an "official" honeymoon and a CCR honeymoon, We both agreed that sharing it with 600 of our closest friends was definitely, def, def, definitely the way to go...Tuesday nite Booze Brothers should be a spectacle to behold.

See Y'all there.

Talking about having the wedding the Thursday before. Then making a nice slow sojourn to CCR over the next couple of days. Probably Talimina, Harrison, then up to Osage Lake....

Thanks for all the kind words...

I think you've done it Jeff

I can't wait.. Sounds like a great band....

I guess until they're hired we need to keep it a secret though...

I didn't see any Gino Vanelli on their song list....
