MacBook help

I admit that I'm trying to switch to a Mac from Windows without reading documentation or training. Nevertheless, if you use a Mac, can you tell me whether there's a way to see ALL THE "NEW POSTS?" ... only the first 45 or so show up when the home page notice says there's 100+

Thanks. Lazy, medicated, and sleepless in Albuquerque.

Regards,
John

It should be in a setting you can access from the site...maybe user control panel setting? Unless it is another way for Steve to "Job" you, it shouldn't have anything to do with what type of computer you are using

I suspect what you are 'Counting' are not posts, but, threads.

Example: When I log on, I may see that there are 44 NEW posts, I scroll down but ONLY count 32 threads...That's because there are multiple new posts per thread.

I'm on a Mac. It's not a Mac thing. Its an interpretive issue.

The site works the same whether you are on a Windows variant, Mac OS X, or even Linux or any other system that runs a standard browser (IE, Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Safari, etc.)

Interpretation must be different when looking through a Safari window.
O.K., it must be lack of sleep and frustration (that I don't know how to do things I took for granted on the Windows platform).

John

Macbooks

the browser Opera (available free from www.opera.com) runs very well on my Mac and has keyboard shortcuts for most commands which I find easier to use on a lapdog. It also handles the RSS feed very well.

Just my 2p worth

Thanks for the tip Graham - I downloaded it and will try it out.
