Bought used K1200LT number 3. This one is green/teal with 31,369(now 7/29/2018 54,143) miles and is an '02. The first 2 bikes made it to near 150,000 miles.

Due to heart health, the Dr says not to ride under 40 degree air temp. Ugh! Now it is harder to get my 18000 miles a year in just in the summer. Guess that stopped my 20 degree rides now.

Merry Christmas right back atcha.

Although, I've never really considered saying "Merry Christmas" as PC or not PC. The way I see it...telling a non-believer "Merry Christmas" is just like a Jew telling me "Happy Hanukkah". It just doesn't make much sense to me anymore.

Having said that... Hearing or reading "Happy Hanukkah" doesn't offend me. So why do non-believers seem to get so offended at hearing or reading "Merry Christmas"?

I say whatever I feel like at the time, whether it's Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, but my favorite greeting is from Peter Ustinov in the holiday movie We're No Angels (Bogart's last movie, I believe) who said in that great English accent "Compliments of the Seasons" at the end of the movie. It always sounded so like the British, the masters of the understatement. So, Compliments of the Seasons from the Jewell clan to the BMWLT family.

IIRC, it was the Christian folk who were offended by businesses mandating the use of "Happy Holidays." They screamed, "You're stealing my Christmas!", "I want you to say Merry Christmas to me!" Conservative TV roared about the "War on Christmas." To me, the whole argument was asinine, selfish and it seems that some still prefer exclusion to inclusion. Misses the spirit of the season doesn't it? I guess I just don't understand.

So let me wish my friends, all of my friends, a deeply heartfelt Happy Holidays....your holiday...whatever it may mean to you. May you have clear, winding roads ahead, with peace and prosperity in the new year.
