Reminds me of the t-shirt that was doing the rounds in the UK a couple of years ago - printed on the back was 'If you can read this, our lass has fallen off'

Heh, heh...the British are always much more polite than our:

"The bitch fell off!" t-shirts....

I my case thought provoking is an understatement,
this video "hits" close to home,
it's been around 7 months since we hit that Elk up in the Idaho mountains,
I got my "bell rung" pretty good that day
but the scariest part of all was seeing my wife laying in the road,
it was so quick I never even had a chance to hit the brakes,
yet somehow I still "feel responsible" that she got hurt,
I don't know what I would do if I had lost her.

"you say thought provovking"

Imagine carrying that load on your shoulders every time you swing your leg over the seat.

Polite? Or classy?

I don't know what to think if the film. Most rider's minds might ponder such thoughts as "Is my gear good enough?", or "You never know when your number's up, so you better live life to the fullest.". But I have to believe that most non-riders are going to think "Motorcycles are toooo dangerous!".

The horse shoe wedding rings were interesting. I guess you never know for sure when your luck's going to run out.

When one rides a motorbike, one is totally in charge of ones own destiny. (bestest English, Joe !) - when you take a pillion (be it your wife, girlfriend, or just someone you like to have snuggling up behind you), you are so so so responsible for their life - for some reason, it seems moreso than when they are a passenger in a cage or whatever. If that(the outcome of the film) had happned to me, I think I would stay under the next truck that came along.
