Question Remember 12/7?

Wonder if the far left went arround saying we had it coming after 12/7
like they have after 9/11?

Back in '41, the far left was still right of center, or at least within a reasonable distance of it. I grew up in a house divided - Mom was a Rep. Dad a Dem. (Dad served in WWII) BUT, they shared the same values - not like today's picture of right v. left.

Dude, you have got get over this far left thing. Most all us lefties were ( except for a few nut jobs here and there) all for going to Taliban land and opening up a can of whup ass. If only we had stayed and finished the job, the Taliban would have been far less likely to rise again as it is now doing.

I don't know about any of that.
Each Pearl Harbor day I go to a small town outside of Johnstown PA.
There is a statue called Iron Mike dedicated to a home town Sgt. that let the charge up Mt Sirabachi. with 4 other ragtag jarheads and a corpman. They raised a flag that spurred the pinned down Marines onto victory at Iwo Jima.
Puts things into perspective for me, in a world gone insane.
The first year cops came, why was my bike parked on the side walk etc. He reached out and shook my hand, now they expect me.
