Thanks, everybody! I had a wonderful day, it feels great to be 21 (again ). The day started raining but cleared up a bit. Spent some time with Kari and running around doing some stuff, then had some friends over for BBQ ribs and pork shoulder from the Rendezvous in Memphis! You can order racks of ribs and such and they'll drop ship them to your door overnight. Had too much ribs, cake and ice cream, but just enough beer. All in all it was a really great day.

Oh, I almost forgot, I got myself a little present this afternoon.

As you well know, I can already ride off the edge of the road. It's getting back on it without the aid of a tow truck I'm looking for.

If you are referring to the wealth of friends, cohorts, and good times I have with folks on this list, you are right, I'm very rich!

As for the bike, it was more a lucky coming together of timing and a really good deal on a nice bike that I would have been kicking myself for if I passed it up. Kari did say I have to get on the ball and lose the remaining 30 lbs, though. Our deal was when I dropped 100 I got a second bike. But she was very cool about it and knew this was a good deal. I have to say that I have a VERY awesome wife!
