I feel for you guys,
you see in a previous life I spent ten winters in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Then I escaped,
moved down here 26 years ago,
it's not perfect but I have no plans to leave anytime soon.

In regards to riding,
it takes me a half hour to get out of the "city"
then the roads are mostly straight and flat, but still pleasant.
It's a little "cool" this morning (65) and since I don't have anything pressing
I think I'll wait until "noon'ish" to go for a ride,
just to give it a chance to warm up a little

We rode some last year in early Feb when it was a bristling 22 degrees for short ride with alot of Heated gear!

** When winter comes even a sunny 35-40 degree day feels like riding weather and most of us come out if the roads are clear....
