The End is in Sight

There is going to be at least three days in a row above freezing. Can this be the end?

Yup the roads are pretty much clear, approaching intersections lots of crap on the road. I might just go for my first ride this year next week, one thing that is stopping me is that the frost is just coming out of the driveway so it is very soft till it drains properly.

Re: The End is in Sight

Spring is in the air but it will be at least a couple of weeks before I can get the RT out. I expect our lane to be very soft with all the melting snow. But ... I still have my ride videos from last year to watch. Small comfort I know but at least it's something. Next year should be different though. We are down sizing and moving to near Fort Erie and a short paved driveway. Very much looking forward to a longer riding season.

Not in The Maritimes! Another 20 cm of snow, ice pellets, freezing rain coming tomorrow. I can't see over the banks to get out on the street safely. Could be the middle of May before riding here.

I like my neighbors to the north
But every time it turns cold here a look to the north and well . . . .
The good news end of March and looking to the southwest has brung 50's>>> 60's the past two days. My first trip is for north and east so I hope they are fairing well. You too
ride safe

Re: The End is in Sight

There is absolutely nothing that I know about Uniondale, but I suspect there is no unions in the town. It is near Stratford by the Wildwood Conservation area about a half hour ride from our house.

Gerhard

P.S. This was my first ride of the year and you forget how quickly you are in suspended drivers licence territory, I looked down and I was going 140 in a 80. Bike started on the second crank, actually fired on the first crank but stalled.
