Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2012

Thanks Garry and all the best to you and family.

I haven't learned how to insert a pix in the message but the attached is a quick snap with my phone. I don't ever remember a Thanksgiving like this before.
Cheers
Peter

Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2012

This site seems to be almost dead. A couple of weeks and the Thanksgiving wishes will apply to our American neighbours.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2012

Certainly not much going on with this thread. This afternoon is supposed to be sunny and about 4 deg C. I going to find time for short ride. The Sunday forecast is for 13 deg. Fingers crossed!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2012

In Edmonton we aren't thinking much about riding. There is a foot of snow on the ground right now. We have been into the white stuff for two weeks already. Time to go south.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2012

The snow fall is closing in on us as well. But so far, we've escaped. I'm just trying to get in as much saddle time as I can. This summer was not good for me. Lots to do and way too hot. The PR3's on the RT still look new. Unfortunately!

3Cyl Kawa ( a long time ago)
450 Yamaha Seca ( maybe it was a Maxim )
1100 Honda Magna
650 Honda XR ( to Guatemala and back)

2000 BMW 1200LT ( Maxamillion )

Keep the rubber side down

Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2012

I have all wheel drive in my car and found the roads challenging, I can't imagine trying to drive a scooter in this stuff.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving 2012

I remember a while back there were some articles in bike magazines about two wheel drive bikes. Guess nothing came of that. There's a guy around here that I have been wanting to meet for years. Nobody seems to know who he is but he rides an old BMW with a sidecar all year round.
