This is Paul's partner - we do not know exactly how Paul died. He missed a curve in the desert in Nevada. I was indeed riding behind on my R1200R.
He may or may not have had a heart attack. Below are the details of his obit in the Star and the Globe. I can be contacted at: [email protected]
Paul Feldman of Toronto died tragically July 21, 2010 in the Nevada desert while engaged in his greatest passion, motorcycle riding.
He was born in Czechoslovakia , but emigrated to Canada in infancy with his parents the late Cantor Albert and Ingeborg ( Inka) Feldman.
Paul's high school years were split between Oakwood Collegiate and Downsview Secondary School. He attended the University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School.
After retiring, Paul devoted his energy to his interests in photography, keeping current with news, and above all motorcycles. He was a member of the BMWMOA and the YOWs; he loved the freedom of riding whether with Judy, on his own or with his many friends.
Paul was a devoted and loving son, companion, husband, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.
He is survived by his companion Judy Adler, wife Lee Feldman, sister Judy (Allen) Marcovitch, brother John (Evelyn) Feldman and their children Samantha and Joshua, brother-in-law Ira Katzin and his companion Saretta Baron, niece Michelle Katzin, nephew Jeffrey (Jodi) Katzin and their children. He also leaves behind the Gettler, Roscoe and Adler families.
Paul was a good friend to many and was known for his sense of humour and quick wit. He left us much too soon at age 63 after mounting a long and courageous battle against psoriatic arthritis. He was an inspiration to us all.
